Etpro win32 downloader trojan virtual dj. I use a 5100cn at work, and after installing the drivers from Dell, I'm seeing full functionality in regards to duplex and supply levels.
I did, however, have to go into the printer detail (Options and Supplies, then the Driver tab), and select the proper driver of 'Dell Color Laser 5110cn v3015.103 PS,' because even though I'd selected the Dell drivers when I added the printer, the driver selection was still initially showing as 'Generic Postscript Printer.' Best modern browser for os x 10.8. Do you know if there are any issues with the Dell 3100cn? https://heavylove585.weebly.com/ovi-suite-for-mac-os-x.html. My boss is usually eager to update to a new OS without checking on printer issues, etc

Hi Scott,
Can you please let me know how you have configured Dell 3100cn Printer on your snow leopard? We have configured using LPD and selected the printer driver as Dell 3100cn. The moment i click on print, the print job is added to the print queue and after 10 second, the printer is going to paused state and the print job will never be printed. Your help on this greatly appreciated. Regards Sivaram

I was pi**ed that I could no longer use the full functionality of my 5100cn after upgrading to Snow Leopard. Fortunately, after a little research and help from others I got it back. Install Rosetta from the Snow Leopard Optional Install Package on the install disk. Then download and install the Mac OS X driver available from Dell. After I did that the driver was selectable I couold add the 5100cn as a new printer and I'm back in business.

I tried it all. Where are my mac apps. I followed every bit of advice I could find and nothing I did made it work UNTIL. Mac os x theme for windows 8 64 bit. (Keep in mind, I'm in a windows network in a large corporation). I added the printer using 'Windows' in the 'Add Printer' dialog and browsed through the network (having to enter my network credentials each time I dug through a server) until I found the printer, selected the appropriate driver and I could finally print!!!
The first couple times I had to enter my network credentials, but it now works! I really think the problem was that when I originally set up the printer using 'IP', it never asked for my network credentials and hence probably failed. Hopefully this helped somebody.

Has anyone tried adding this with Mountain Lion? How to download hindi movies on mac. I am on a networked printer at school which mostly relies on windows operating systems and I am having a heck of a time trying to get the printer to work with my computer. It worked fine yesterday on the old operating system, which was OLD, but now I am up to date. please help me. the technology guys here hate macs. :*(
I own a Dell Color Laser printer model 5130cdn and it has performed very well under Mac OS X 10.6 or lower. However, under Lion the printer went into a paused state after every job; resuming the printer triggered a duplicate job and a further pause. The only workaround was to delete the job before resuming the printer.Dell issued a new driver as of 11/1/2011, in theory Lion compatible. However, it did not fix the problem on my system if the printer was added from the 'Print' pane of System Preferences, choosing from the 'Default' tab. A Dell technical analyst walked me through a fix and it may be useful to others. It will be important to know the IP address of the printer, particularly if you have more than one networked printer. There are several ways to get the address, here is one: open the Terminal.app from Applications/Utilities, type arp -a, and press Return. You will see a list, and it should include an item similar to: Dell 5100cn![]() dell9cf14a.local (10.0.1.106) at 8:0:37:9c:f1:4a on en1 ifscope [ethernet] In my case the IP address is 10.0.1.106, but this will depend on your network setup. Then do the following steps:
Dell 5100cn SupportYou should be good to go.[crarko adds: Printer drivers have often been one of the more painful parts of an OS upgrade. I do remember going through gyrations like this with printers under both Leopard and Snow Leopard installs. It sounds like Dell was pretty quick getting a fix out; some vendors have taken more than six months to upgrade Mac drivers in the past.] Comments are closed.
